THE YORUBA DANCE
Dancing as in most African cultures is associated with both sacred nd secular events, as it plays a crucial role in education, work, entertainement, politics and ritual. Yoruba dances are well compared to traditional zulu dancers, as they reflect greatly on heroic deeds of our great fathers nd ancestors. The yoruba have dance groups that perform on events, like marriages, child naming, burials and chieftancy titles.
next i will publish on how they dress nd on songs they sing. thank you
